Whew, from start to finish in one day. One verrrrry loooooong day.
maters, peppers, squash (yellow, cocozelle, butternut), okra, corn, cukes and flowers. That is *hopefully* going to be one crammed garden! Lots of experimental (for me, anyway) techniques this year, I'm hoping it works.

Katie found this little turtle while she was mowing. How she spotted it, I'll never know. He was about 3" across and very fast. I was most suprised that she didn't ask to keep him. Good nature girl.

Mondays

Have you ever vacuumed the entire house and go to empty the dirt cup and *gasp* awwww maaan, it's empty! Rats, the hose is completely plugged up. Spend 10 minutes trying to find a stick long enough to reach the problem and then have to re-vacuum the house. Empty the dirt cup and DAMN!! there's a hole in my Walmart bag. At least I've gotten smart enough to do it outside but since I didn't put on my shoes I was standing on the front porch. Now where is that broom? It must be Monday.

Not so much posing, let me see a little more neck....not so much teeth, do you know how to smile with your eyes? Ok now give me something a little different. I can hear Mr. Jay talking in my head.

If you look closely in the upper left corner you'll see a bumblebee. wow, the bees were thick! It's hard to get a good picture of the kids when they're afraid the bees are gonna get'em.

Nothing like a little sickness to help you appreciate the good things in life. Even if those things are cleaning the wreck of a house as the result of not doing anything for a few days. Putting on the smiley to get things done!

Western style wedding cake. The piping on the center tier is taken from their invitation. Name of this cake is "Gettin' Hitched". This couple met as kids while showing animals in 4H. They wedding and reception were held in the County show barn. That's unusual. While I was setting up I thought to myself that it looked like it was going to be a fun wedding.
